Steve
Brown joined Textron Financial in 2006 as SVP Sales Manager,
Western Region and is based in the division’s U.S. Headquarters
in Alpharetta, Georgia. Brown is responsible for managing origination
teams based in the Chicago, Dallas and Los Angeles regional
offices and has more than 30 years of commercial finance experience
structuring financing solutions for borrowers and private equity
firms.

Prior to joining TFC, Brown served as vice president of
Harris Nesbitt Commercial Finance where he was responsible
for originating asset-based, cash flow and investment banking
opportunities for the Harris Nesbitt Corporate and Investment
Bank business units. Prior to joining Harris Nesbitt,
Brown held senior leadership positions at Guaranty Business
Credit Corporation, G.E. Capital and Duff & Phelps Capital
Markets Company. He has extensive experience in middle market
leveraged buyouts, mergers and acquisitions, recapitalizations,
debt restructuring and turnarounds.
Brown is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth,
Atlanta Venture Forum, Commercial Finance Association, Turnaround
Management Association, National Funding Association, Secured
Lenders of South Florida, Capital City Club and was past
President of the American Heart Association-Atlanta Division. Brown
is a graduate of the University of Virginia and received
his MBA from American University.
