Textron Financial Names Adele Suddes Chief
Marketing Officer
Providence, RI – December 4, 2007 — Textron
Financial Corporation, a subsidiary of Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT),
today announced that Adele Suddes has been promoted to Executive
Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer. She will continue
to lead the company’s marketing function while also assuming
responsibility for its Customer Care Center. Suddes reports
to Textron Financial President Jay Carter and serves as a member
of the company’s Executive Committee.
“Adele has improved Textron Financial’s overall marketing
capability with her relentless focus on driving customer acquisition
and retention,” said Carter. “Under her leadership,
the marketing function has developed and implemented world-class
processes and tools, bringing value to both our customers and our
employees.”
Suddes joined Textron Financial in 2000 and has held positions
of increasing responsibility focused on providing strategic and
tactical marketing support to all of the company’s business
divisions. Under her direction, the marketing function has
completed the most comprehensive, statistically significant customer
satisfaction study in the company’s history. This program
was recognized earlier in 2007 with Textron’s first-ever
Customer Satisfaction & Loyalty Impact Award. In addition,
Textron Financial has shown year-over-year improvement in marketing
effectiveness across 20 different functional attributes as benchmarked
by the Marketing Leadership Council, a nationally recognized center
of excellence for marketing research.
Suddes holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University
of Connecticut and an MBA from Bryant University. She is
a certified Textron Six Sigma Green Belt and has completed Textron’s
Executive Leadership Program at the Thunderbird School of Global
Management.
