Textron Financial Names David Wisen as Group President


Providence, RI – February 20, 2007 - Textron Financial Corporation, a Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) company, today announced that it has named David Wisen group president, with oversight of its Golf Finance, Resort Finance, and Structured Finance divisions, as well as its Textron Business Services (TBS) subsidiary. In this role, Wisen will be responsible for continued growth of divisional product and service offerings, as well as evaluating and pursuing new market opportunities. Wisen reports to Textron Financial President Jay Carter and serves as a member of the company’s Management Committee with both operating and financial management responsibilities.

“Under David’s strong leadership, our Golf, Resort, Structured Finance, and TBS businesses are well-positioned to accelerate in existing areas, while also pursuing growth opportunities that leverage our expertise,” said Carter. “David has strong industry expertise and a proven track record in relationship-building – qualities that are core to our customer-centric approach.”

Wisen joined Textron Financial in 1994 and has held various positions of increasing authority during his tenure, most recently serving as president of the Resort Finance Division in Glastonbury, Connecticut. Under his leadership, the division managed a portfolio of over $1.5 billion in loans for the development and operations of resorts across the Americas. Prior to his role with Resort Finance, he served as president and managing director of the Capital Markets group, leading the company’s efforts to align capital markets activities and diversify its investor base. He was also assistant treasurer-International of Textron Inc. and treasurer and vice president of Corporate Development for Textron Financial.

Wisen earned his bachelor’s degree from Columbia University and a JD from Duke University. He is a Trustee of the American Resort Development Association, a member of the Board of Directors of the Greater Providence Chamber of Commerce, and a member of the Board of Governors of Miriam Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island.
