Textron Financial Corporation Names New Human Resources Executive

Providence, RI - November 12, 2002 - Robert M. Powers has joined Textron Financial Corporation as Executive Vice President, Human Resources. With over 20 years of human resources experience at several major U.S. corporations, Mr. Powers was most recently with General Electric Company's Power Systems Division, where he led human resources strategy and execution for their global sales force. At Textron Financial, Mr. Powers will be responsible for executive leadership of the Human Resources Shared Services Department which supports employees of Textron Financial and Textron Inc.'s world headquarters. Mr. Powers holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from Keene State College of Keene, New Hampshire.
